Unauthenticated object injection via serialized cookies
Published Jun 7, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
PHP object injection in Rustaurius Ultimate Reviews before 2.1.33 allows remote attackers to inject objects through crafted cookies. EWD_URP_Update_Karama, review submission, and SelectReview pass attacker-controlled cookie values through stripslashes into unserialize. The paths are reachable without authentication, but the plugin contains no POP chain, so object injection alone does not establish code execution.
