Unauthenticated file disclosure via path traversal
Published Jun 7, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Path traversal in Tyche Softwares Product Input Fields for WooCommerce 1.2.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to read server files. The handle_downloads() method appends an unsanitized alg_wc_pif_download_file query value to the upload directory and passes the resulting path to readfile(). Because admin_init is reachable without authentication, traversal sequences expose arbitrary readable files, including WordPress configuration secrets.
