Browser script execution via reflected scheduler input
Published Apr 4, 2023 · Updated Feb 11, 2025
Reflected XSS in the Sophos Web Appliance report scheduler before 4.3.10.4 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in a victim's browser. The scheduler reflects attacker-controlled POST data into its response without neutralizing content that the browser interprets as script. The attack requires a logged-in victim to manually submit a malicious form on an attacker-controlled website, limiting the consequence to script execution in that victim's session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
