SQL injection via unescaped table names
Published Jan 7, 2023 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in Squalor before 0.0.0-20200306154055-f6f0a47cc344 allows attackers to alter MySQL queries via crafted table names. LoadTable passes the supplied name into loadColumns and loadKeys, which concatenate it into SHOW FULL COLUMNS and SHOW INDEX statements without quoting or escaping embedded backticks. Reachability requires a consuming application to pass an attacker-influenced table name; resulting reads, writes, or deletion remain bounded by its database account permissions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
