Stored XSS in OpenMRS Appointment Scheduling Module 1.12 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The validateFieldName method accepted appointment-type names containing HTML while module views used unsafe HTML binding, so stored markup was rendered without output encoding. Low-privilege access to create or edit an appointment type is required, and another user must view the stored name for browser-side execution.
