Cross-site scripting via unneutralized language parameter
Published Dec 15, 2022 · Updated Apr 21, 2025
Cross-site scripting in FeehiCMS 2.0.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script through a crafted language selection. The frontend and backend language endpoints place the unneutralized lang value into an HTML lang attribute, allowing an injected script element to run when a FeehiCMS post is rendered. Exploitation requires user interaction with a crafted URL; script execution occurs in the application's browser origin and can read or alter page-accessible data.
