Authenticated file disclosure via FTP path traversal
Published Oct 22, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Directory traversal in the Sky File 2.1.0 FTP server allows remote authenticated users to read files via crafted /null// path commands. The server permits an anonymous FTP account to combine CWD and CDUP navigation with the malformed path without confining resolution to the application directory. Network access to the device's Wi-Fi FTP service and valid anonymous-account credentials are required, and exploitation exposes files without modifying them.
