Undefined behavior via unconditional Send implementations
Published Aug 8, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Data races in multiqueue 0.3.2 and earlier allow attackers to trigger undefined behavior by moving non-Send values between threads. The InnerSend<RW, T>, InnerRecv<RW, T>, FutInnerSend<RW, T>, and FutInnerRecv<RW, T> implementations mark their generic payloads Send without requiring T: Send. Exploitation requires a consuming application to enqueue a non-Send value and move it across threads; the resulting data race or other undefined behavior occurs within that application.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
