Memory corruption via unconstrained AtomicBox traits

Memory-safety flaw in the lever crate before 0.1.1 allows attackers to trigger undefined behavior and memory corruption via AtomicBox. AtomicBox unsafely implements Send and Sync for every T without requiring T to satisfy the corresponding trait, permitting Rc or Cell values to cross thread boundaries. Exploitation requires a consuming application to place a non-Send or non-Sync value in AtomicBox and exercise concurrent access, where the resulting data race can corrupt memory or crash the process.
