Application crash via malformed JPEG image

Crash vulnerability in GNOME gThumb before 3.10.1 allows local users to interrupt service by opening a malformed JPEG image. The JPEG decoding path mishandles malformed image data and terminates the application instead of rejecting the file. An attacker must get a user to open the crafted image; impact is an application crash and denial of service, with no documented data read or modification.
