Stored XSS in affected Atlassian Confluence Server and Data Center releases allows remote authenticated users to inject HTML or JavaScript. The Livesearch macro's page-excerpt functionality renders attacker-controlled excerpt content without neutralizing active HTML or JavaScript. Page or blog edit permission is required, and viewing the crafted excerpt executes script in another user's browser session.
