Denial of service via undersized TIFF buffer

Out-of-bounds read in Leptonica before 1.80.0 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via crafted TIFF images. The pixReadFromTiffStream function allocates a scanline buffer sized for one byte per input byte, then converts 8-bit gray-plus-alpha data to RGBA and reads twice that amount, causing a heap-based over-read. Exploitation requires an application to process the crafted TIFF; the documented impact is service interruption without confidentiality or integrity loss.
