OS command injection in Amaze File Manager before 3.5.1 allows local users to gain root privileges through a crafted symbolic link. Root-mode file handling passes a symlink path containing shell metacharacters into a privileged shell command without neutralizing them. The attack requires local access to a rooted Android device with root explorer enabled, and successful exploitation grants full device control.
