Unauthenticated custom field option disclosure
Published Feb 14, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Information disclosure in Atlassian Jira Server and Data Center before 8.15.0 allows remote attackers to view custom field options. The /rest/api/2/customFieldOption/ REST resource returns option data without requiring authentication; Atlassian has not published deeper implementation details. Network access to the Jira HTTP service is sufficient, and the documented impact is limited to reading custom field option data.
