Privilege escalation in Bitbucket Server and Data Center before 6.10.9, 7.x before 7.6.4, and 7.7.0 through 7.10.0 grants local users elevation. The Microsoft Windows installer assigns weak ACLs to the installation directory even though Bitbucket runs high-privileged services from that tree. This Windows-only condition exposes service-used files to modification by a low-privileged account, enabling execution with the service's privileges.
