Browser script execution in a user's session
Published Jul 1, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Stored XSS in QNAP QuLog Center before 1.2.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser through network input. QNAP identifies QuLog Center as the affected locus but does not disclose which input is stored or where output neutralization fails. Exploitation requires a user to view the stored content; the resulting script can read or modify data in that user's browser session.
