Remote code execution via unblocked datasource gadget

Polymorphic deserialization in FasterXML jackson-databind before 2.9.10.8 allows remote attackers to execute code via crafted JSON. The subtype denylist omits org.apache.tomcat.dbcp.dbcp2.datasources.PerUserPoolDataSource, so attacker-selected type metadata can instantiate that JNDI-capable gadget. Exploitation requires default typing or equivalent Object-based type metadata, the Tomcat DBCP gadget on the classpath, and an application that deserializes untrusted JSON; successful use grants code execution in the application process.
