Unsafe deserialization in FasterXML jackson-databind before 2.6.7.5 and 2.7.0 through 2.9.10.7 allows remote attackers to execute code via crafted JSON. SubTypeValidator omits org.docx4j.org.apache.xalan.lib.sql.JNDIConnectionPool from its blocked-type set, allowing polymorphic typing to instantiate the gadget from attacker-selected type metadata. Exploitation requires untrusted JSON deserialization, unsafe polymorphic typing, and the affected docx4j Xalan class on the application classpath.
