Directory disclosure via LDAP filter injection

LDAP injection in Redash 8.0.0 allows remote attackers to read directory data through crafted usernames in LDAP login searches. The auth_ldap_user function interpolates the supplied username directly into LDAP_SEARCH_TEMPLATE without escaping, allowing filter operators to alter the directory query and select unintended entries. Exploitation requires LDAP authentication to be enabled and a configuration whose search template permits the injected filter; successful attacks can expose directory attributes and support password-spraying attempts.
