Signing certificate disclosure via underprotected API endpoint
Published May 7, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Information disclosure in PAXSTORE 7.0.8_20200511171508 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to obtain a signing certificate and password. The hidden GET /p-market-web/v1/admin/signature/signaturePuk endpoint returns the current PKCS#12 certificate in Base64 together with its password without enforcing administrator-only authorization. Reseller-level access is sufficient to retrieve signing material that the administrative interface otherwise withholds.
