Authenticated SQL injection via concatenated customer ID
Published Apr 6, 2023 · Updated Feb 12, 2025
SQL injection in SourceCodester Tailor Management System 1 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database data via the id parameter. customeredit.php assigns the id query-string value directly to $eid and concatenates it into a PDO SELECT statement without validation or a prepared parameter. A valid login and access to the customer-edit page are required; successful injection runs attacker-controlled SQL in the application's database context.
