Authenticated code execution via unparameterized customer query
Published Apr 6, 2023 · Updated Feb 12, 2025
SQL injection in SourceCodester Tailor Management System 1 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code through email.php. The page inserts the POST customer value directly into a quoted WHERE clause in a PDO query without filtering or a prepared statement. A valid login and access to email.php are required; a crafted customer value enables blind database-query manipulation, and the CVE record reports arbitrary code execution.
