Administrative access via recoverable hard-coded credentials
Published Feb 11, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Hard-coded credentials in PHPGurukul Dairy Farm Shop Management System 1.0 allow remote attackers to access the admin control panel. The bundled SQL database file stores the administrator password as an MD5 hash that can be recovered with password-cracking tools. Any network-reachable installation that retains the bundled account accepts the recovered credentials with full administrative access to products, invoices, reports, and profile settings.
