Authenticated code execution via unfiltered cache write
Published Aug 11, 2023 · Updated Oct 9, 2024
Arbitrary code execution in WUZHI CMS 4.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run PHP code through a crafted ueditor setting. The ueditor action in coreframe/app/attachment/admin/index.php passes setting to set_cache without filtering, which writes it into an executable PHP cache file. A valid CMS login is required; requesting the same action without submit then executes the attacker-controlled cache content on the server.
