Unauthenticated data compromise via id SQL injection
Published Aug 11, 2023 · Updated Oct 9, 2024
SQL injection in oretnom23 School Faculty Scheduling System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read or alter data via a crafted id value. The scheduling/admin/manage_user.php endpoint incorporates the id parameter into an SQL query without neutralizing SQL syntax, causing supplied input to execute as query logic. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation exposes database contents and permits data changes or database-backed privilege escalation.
