Stored XSS via unrestricted SVG and XML uploads

Stored cross-site scripting in GetGist Chatbox 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute scripts by uploading a crafted SVG or XML file. The chat attachment upload accepts SVG and XML content without restricting the file type, then serves an image URL that a browser interprets as active content. Execution requires a user to open the uploaded image URL; the script then runs in that user's browser context and can access session data or perform actions with that user's privileges.
