Directory search manipulation via unescaped login filter
Published Feb 15, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
LDAP injection in CITSmart before 9.1.2.23 allows remote attackers to alter directory searches through a crafted login value. LDAPUtils.autenticacaoAD concatenates the login directly into uid or sAMAccountName search filters without escaping LDAP metacharacters before calling DirContext.search. LDAP-backed authentication must be enabled and reachable; public evidence demonstrates filter alteration but does not establish authentication bypass or directory modification.
