Authenticated database modification via unquoted resource identifier
Published Feb 5, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in Zoho ManageEngine Applications Manager through build 14930 allows remote authenticated users to alter application data. UriCollector.doFilter appends the resourceid parameter directly to a SELECT statement when showresource.do requests mobile resource details. A normal non-administrator account and a mobile User-Agent are sufficient to submit stacked SQL, including an UPDATE that resets the administrator password.
