Database disclosure via stored widget sort injection
Published Feb 8, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Second-order SQL injection in LibreNMS before 21.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database contents through a dashboard widget. TopDevicesController stores sort_order in users_widgets and later inserts it into raw ORDER BY clauses without validation when the widget renders. Any authenticated role can extract database records, including password hashes and device credentials, or make the application unresponsive.
