CVE-2020-35682Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Administrator access via post-SAML username tampering

Published Mar 13, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Authentication bypass in Zoho ServiceDesk Plus 10511 through 11133 allows remote authenticated users to gain administrator access through SAML. The post-validation security check trusts a directly supplied username parameter instead of the username and domain stored during SAML validation, allowing substitution of an administrator account. Exploitation requires enabled SAML authentication, credentials for any service desk account, and knowledge of an administrator username and domain; it exposes data and permits configuration changes.
