Resource exhaustion in Red Hat JBoss Remoting before 5.0.20.SP1-redhat-00001 allows remote attackers to hang EJB server threads. The server retains request-processing threads indefinitely when a client sends the expected bytes for a successful EJB request but omits acknowledgment messages. Network access to the EJB remoting service is required, and repeated incomplete exchanges can deny service by exhausting available threads.
