Stored script execution via unsanitized profile names
Published Mar 4, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored XSS in Courier Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in a user's browser via profile names. The Manage Account profile update stores script markup in the First Name or Last Name field and later renders it without neutralization. Any valid account can plant the payload, but a user must load the affected page, where the script runs in the application's origin.
