Remote code execution via plugin upload
Published Apr 20, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Remote code execution in WonderCMS 3.1.3 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via the theme/plugin installer. The installUpdateThemePluginAction function in index.php accepts a custom plugin upload and processes attacker-controlled content, enabling a webshell. The network-reachable installer therefore permits compromise of the CMS host when the vulnerable 3.1.3 build is deployed.
