Stored XSS via unsanitized category input
Published Jan 21, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored XSS in Bakeshop Online Ordering System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through a crafted category name. The Categories form accepts an HTML event-handler payload in the Category field, stores it, and renders it without output neutralization. Administrative access is required to save the value, and a browser must render the affected dashboard view for the script to run in that site's security context.
