CVE-2020-3525Network attack vector

Service account password disclosure via configuration pages

Published Nov 18, 2024 · Updated Nov 18, 2024

Information disclosure in Cisco Identity Services Engine before 2.7p2 allows remote authenticated users to recover saved service account passwords. The Admin portal includes stored password values when it loads configuration pages instead of withholding those secrets from read-only and write-capable administrators. Exploitation requires authenticated read or write access to the portal and exposes service accounts to subsequent compromise.
