Administrative access via colliding NSDP password hashes

Weak NSDP password hashing in NETGEAR JGS516PE and GS116Ev2 2.6.0.43 allows attackers to gain administrative access via captured traffic. The authentication algorithm exposes password characteristics in random-token and password-hash packets and accepts rapidly generated colliding passwords. Attackers must capture NSDP commands 0x17 and 0x1a while Plus Utility support is enabled; a successful collision authenticates management requests as an administrator.
