Cluster-state disclosure via overbroad primitive queries
Published Dec 16, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Information disclosure in Atomix 3.1.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read ONOS cluster state via distributed-variable queries. A malicious cluster node can query a distributed variable primitive that returns the complete primitive list used by ONOS nodes instead of only authorized state. Cluster-node access is required; the exposed data is limited to shared ONOS state, with no reported write or service-interruption impact.
