Authentication endpoint disclosure via hardcoded discovery API key
Published Mar 29, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Hardcoded credential use in MobileIron Mobile@Work allows remote attackers to discover customer server endpoints through its SaaS API. RegisterActivity.java embeds the key used to authorize customers/servers requests, so extracting the application reveals an accepted credential. Exposure applies only when MobileIron enables the opt-in discovery feature after a support request, and the disclosed result is the organization's authentication endpoint.
