Cross-site scripting in Cisco RV042 and RV042G firmware before 4.2.3.14 allows remote attackers to execute script via a crafted link. The web-based management interface insufficiently validates user-supplied input, allowing it to reach a browser as executable script. Exploitation requires a management-interface user to click the link; remote exposure is disabled by default, and successful attacks can access browser data.
