CVE-2020-3361Network attack vector

Unauthenticated account takeover via mishandled tokens

Published Jun 18, 2020 · Updated Nov 15, 2024

Improper authentication in Cisco WebEx Meetings Server 4.0 through 4.0 MR3 allows remote attackers to assume another user's privileges. The Webex site mishandles authentication tokens in crafted requests instead of properly validating them for the represented user. No authentication or user interaction is required; the attacker receives the site privileges of the impersonated user, while Cisco does not disclose the affected token field or validation step.
