CVE-2020-3329Network attack vector

Authenticated account disabling via misallocated RBAC control

Published May 6, 2020 · Updated Nov 15, 2024

Improper access control in Cisco UCS Director 5.4.0.0 and later, before 6.7.4.0 allows remote authenticated users to disable accounts. The role-based access control code exposes the enable/disable action to read-only accounts instead of restricting that operation to authorized roles. A read-only login is required, and successful exploitation can disable any user, including administrators, preventing account access.
