Browser script execution via unvalidated crafted links
Published May 6, 2020 · Updated Nov 15, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Cisco Firepower Management Center before 6.2.2.3 allows remote attackers to run script in an interface user's browser. The web UI insufficiently validates user-supplied input from a crafted link before incorporating it into a generated page. Exploitation requires an interface user to follow the link; resulting script can act in the interface context or access sensitive browser data.
