File overwrite in Cisco Firepower Management Center Software before 6.2.2.2 allows remote authenticated users to overwrite appliance files. The web UI applies insufficient validation to a crafted file upload, allowing the upload operation to overwrite existing filesystem content. A valid FMC account and network access to the management web UI are required, and the documented result is file overwrite on the appliance.
