Authenticated stack overflow code execution

Stack overflow in Cisco Small Business RV router firmware allows remote authenticated administrators to execute arbitrary code. The web-based management interface passes attacker-controlled oversized values to scripts without sufficient boundary restrictions, overwriting stack memory and producing a crash or root-level code execution. Exploitation requires administrative login to the interface; remote management is disabled by default, and Cisco reports no malicious use.
