CVE-2020-3266

Root command execution via crafted CLI input

Published Mar 19, 2020 · Updated Nov 15, 2024

Command injection in Cisco SD-WAN Solution software before 19.2.2 allows local users to execute arbitrary commands as root through its CLI. The CLI utility insufficiently validates crafted input before passing it for privileged command execution; Cisco has not disclosed the affected command or parameter. An attacker must authenticate to an affected device and obtain local CLI access, after which injected commands run with root privileges.
