Improper packet processing in Cisco Aironet Access Point Software allows physically proximate attackers to crash affected access points. The client-packet handling path improperly processes a sustained high volume of client packets until the access point crashes. Exploitation requires wireless adjacency and no authentication, and the resulting service interruption is limited to an access-point crash.
