Directory traversal in Cisco UCS Director 6.7.3.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to write or execute arbitrary files. The LargeFileUploadServlet endpoint processes uploaded tar archives without validating user-supplied UNIX symbolic links before file operations. Cisco requires a low-privileged API session, while ZDI reports no authentication requirement; successful exploitation executes code as the Tomcat service.
