Improper access control in Cisco Smart Software Manager On-Prem before 8-202004 allows remote attackers to create nonprivileged accounts. The web application processes crafted HTTP account-creation requests without enforcing authorization controls. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the resulting accounts can alter the appliance configuration but lack administrator and operator roles.
