Administrative API access via unvalidated request key
Published Apr 15, 2020 · Updated Nov 15, 2024
Authentication bypass in Cisco UCS Director before 6.7.4.0 allows remote attackers to invoke REST API actions with administrative privileges. The REST API processes the user-controlled X-Cloupia-Request-Key field in authentication operations without properly validating it. No credentials or user interaction are required; a crafted network request grants administrative API access and permits arbitrary device actions.
