Command injection in the Cisco IOS XE Software web UI allows remote authenticated users to execute operating-system commands as root. The web UI fails to sanitize a crafted form parameter before using it in command execution; Cisco does not identify the form or handler. Exploitation requires valid administrative access and the HTTP Server feature enabled, and successful exploitation grants complete control of the device.
